Student room types: What is En-suite and Non-en-suite

What is En-suite?

An ensuite room is a room that has a toilet and comes with a shower and/or bath. Private rooms and dorm-style rooms can be ensuite. You may pay more for an en-suite room.

What is Non-en-suite?

These rooms are available across a wide range of our halls sites in both self-catered and part-catered halls. Each room contains a washbasin, with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities.
These are our standard non-en suite rooms and suit those who want all the essential facilities, services and student living experience, without the added extras and cost of a Category 3 or en suite.
Please note that in some parts of Wessex Lane, the washbasin is shared with the adjacent room and may be located in an adjacent lobby.
The majority of these rooms and their facilities are very similar in age and style across all of our sites, except for those that are part-catered in our older style halls, which also have kitchenettes rather than full kitchens.
